Mr Janaka Dias Abeyagunaw​ardena

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr Janaka Dias Abeyagunawardena, loving husband to Kathleen (Molly) Dias Abeyagunawardena, wonderful and perfect father to John, David, and Rebecca, cool and fun pop pop to Conrad and Brandon Dias Abeyargunawardena and wonderful father in law to Dhani.

Janaka left this world he so greatly loved and enjoyed on the 28th of May at 11AM, with his family by his side, peacefully, in the comfort of his own bed.  Janaka was a pillar of strength, leadership, and kindness to his family, his community and his friends.  Those who knew Janaka, loved him for all he was, his sense of humor, his love of his family, community, and life.

The viewing will be held on Friday May 31, 2013 from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. at the Gosselin Funeral Home at 660 New Dover Road Edison, New Jersey 08820 (Tel: 732-381-5858).  

The Buddhist services (Pansakula) will be held at Rosehill Crematorium on Saturday June 1, 2013 from 9 AM – 10 AM followed by the cremation at 10 AM.
